Read Any Good Books Lately?

Day 316

The other day I finished reading a new book:

I have previously blogged about how Mary Higgins Clark is one of my favorite mystery authors. She writes clever, complicated, captivating (nice alliteration, huh?) novels.

And she remained true to form in her newest mystery, which is about a woman whose little boy was abducted two years ago. Then she is hit with a major shock: a photo surfaces that shows that she was the one who abducted her son from a park. She realizes that someone had impersonated her, and then she learns that someone has been using her credit cards to make extravagant purchases, including a one-way ticket out of the country.

She tries to convince the public that she is being framed, that someone has stolen her identity, but everyone just assumes that she suffers from a split personality. Will she be able to clear her name, find out who is behind this deception and why, and - most importantly - be able to find her son?

You’ll just have to read this to find out!
